Aileen is a Set Designer, Prop Maker and Creative Assistant, working across Windows, Theatre, Filming and Events.
She specialises in designing and making Set, Props and Costume, with experience working in Theatre, Filming and with Artists/Designers.
Aileen would love to explore the world of Set and Props for Comercials, Still Life and Window Displays further.

She has been Creative Assistant to Paper Flower Artist Grace Sindall at Anna Grace Studio, and to internationally renowned British Artist and Creative Director, Rhea Thierstein.
In Theatre, Aileen has designed shows for companies such as Northern Stage, Live Theatre and Southpaw Dance Co. She has also worked as a Scenic Artist Assistant for Northern Stage and a Dresser for The Sunderland Empire and Durham Gala Panto.
In Film and TV, Aileen has worked as Costume Trainee for productions including: Vera (ITV), The Dumping Ground (CBBC), My Mum Tracy Beaker (BBC), Anne Boleyn (Channel 5), Dead Canny (Apple TV).
Aileen has also designed Short Films, including ‘After The Break’ and ‘The Deafening Silence’ both for BBC New Creatives & BBC Arts, and Costume Designer for ‘The Nicky Nack’, featuring Alan Armstrong.
Aileen designed a Fentimans commercial, ‘The Longest Ad Ever’, making the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest ever ad, filmed continuously for 7 days in Northumberland. Also desiging and set dressing for the photographed commercial images.
Aileen teaches various workshops in both crafts for all ages, learning facilitation across museums and education, and sessions about careers in set, props and costume.

Aileen graduated from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) with a 1st Class BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre and Performance Design in July 2017.
Aileen is a member for The Society Of Theatre Designers.
